HAYS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A multi-vehicle crash shut down traffic on Ranch Road 12 at Oakwood Loop between Wimberley and San Marcos Sunday afternoon, according to the Department of Public Safety.
In a tweet at about 6:30 p.m. by Wimberley Fire Rescue, a photo showed two vehicles with major damage. An additional photo sent by a viewer to KXAN showed three vehicles.
The roadway reopened just before 7:30 p.m.
In mid-June, another crash on RR 12 killed four people – three at the scene with a fourth who died in the hospital just last week.
