Have you seen this man? Troopers need your help finding suspect

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A man has been on the run from Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers since November and now officials are asking for public help in finding him.

In the early hours of Nov. 18, a DPS Trooper stopped a 2013 Hyundai Elantra on Interstate 35 in Hays County for speeding. "The driver of the Hyundai fled the scene and evaded arrest in a motor vehicle, recklessly weaving in and out of traffic, and disregarded multiple traffic control devices," Troopers wrote in a press release Wednesday.

The chase stopped at the intersection of Granada Drive and Catalina Drive and all three occupants of the car ran into a nearby wooded area. The alleged driver, 23-year-old Jose Olivo of Cedar Creek and 26-year-old Veronica Tijerina of Del Valle were both caught and Troopers charged them with evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

The third man escaped and has been on the run since then.

If anyone has information about the third man, they are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477.
