Weather will be beautiful this weekend for the BP MS 150 — the bicycle ride from Houston to Austin that raises money for the National MS Society.
On Sunday, April 29, the bikers in the ride will go through a new route in Bastrop County before ending in Austin. The riders will take a route through State Highway 21 in Cedar Creek before taking Farm to Market 973 towards Austin.
People who live in the area should expect traffic delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.
In 2015 and 2016, one day of the race had to be canceled due to severe weather.
