Suspect in robbery of the Compass bank in the Hill Country Galleria

A bank next to the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave was robbed Thursday afternoon.

Bee Cave police say a man robbed the Compass Bank at 12524 Bee Caves Rd., after giving a clerk a note demanding money around 2:10 p.m.

The suspect is described a white man, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, with blonde hair, blue eyes and thin build, wearing a light blue long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a dark blue baseball cap with a mesh back.

He left the scene in a new model Infiniti, possibly a sedan, which was brown. The suspect was last seen heading toward Austin on Bee Caves Road.
