Woman struck by car in north Austin transported to hospital, EMS says

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Authorities are on the scene of a crash Wednesday between a vehicle and a pedestrian in north Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

Austin police responded to the call around 11:56 a.m. The collision occurred at the 13000 block of North Lamar Boulevard. ATCEMS transported the woman to St. David’s Medical Center in Round Rock. She suffered potentially serious but not life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on the scene. The roadway has been reopened.
