Woman killed after crashing personal watercraft on Lake LBJ

BURNET COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The Texas Game Warden is investigating after a deadly crash on Lake LBJ early Saturday morning. 

The warden said in a release that the single vessel crash happened around 8:00 a.m. on the Colorado River arm of the lake near the Legends Golf Course. 

The victim is identified as Debra Stribling, 56, from Richmond, Virginia.

Stribling sustained fatal injuries when, while operating a personal watercraft, she crashed into a bulkhead and a boathouse.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by a Burnet County Justice of the Peace.

The Texas Game Warden STORM boating accident reconstruction team is helping with the investigation.
