A tornado was sighted forming above Bryan Texas near College Station and Texas A&M.

In Leander, the low water crossing at Broade Way and Brushy Creek is now closed.

Tornado warning for Milam County until 5:45 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm warning for Milam County extended to 6 p.m. 

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the following counties:

4:55 p.m.

53 low water crossings are closed, according to Including:

Austin – Low water crossings No. 1-2 and 5-7 on Spicewood Springs Road; No. 34 at 2809 O’Neal Lane; No. 31 at 12400 Waters Park Road; and No. 32 at 3144 Adelphi Lane.  

Round Rock – Harrelly Parkway at Old Settlers Park; and Old Bowman Road at Onion Branch Trib.

Jarrell – 3225 County Road 305.

Liberty Hill – County Road 284 at County Road 285; and County Road 258 at Tejas Park.

4:35 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm watch canceled for all metro areas, but still in effect for Eastern counties.

In Leander, Hero Way is shut down at Ronald Reagan due to minor road flooding near the Shell gas station. Drivers advised to seek an alternate route.

4:33 p.m.

Reports of high water over several roadways in Williamson County at Highway 79/County Road 431 at Brushy Creek/Brushy Bend; and 283 County Road 279-950 County Road 251 at 13647 State Highway 29.

4:10 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm for Milam County until 5 p.m. 

In Austin, signal at North Lamar & Morrow is cycling normally.

4:05 p.m.

There are 26 reported lower water crossing closures in the area, including:

Austin – Low Water Crossing No. 30 at 3523 McNeil Drive and 400-700 block of Avenue T (between Fourth and Seventh streets).

Round Rock – Nash Street West at Lake Creek Trib.

Cedar Park – 2348 Cypress Lane; 805 Cedar Park Drive; 2402 Peah Tree Lane; and 2400 Sumac Lane.

Leander – Ridgmar Road at Brushy Creek; County Road 177 at Brushy Creek; 

Marble Falls – 800 block of Main Street (between Broadway and Ninth streets); 1300 block of Broadway Street (Childress Park between Avenue L and Avenue N); and 1400 block of Nature Heights Drive between US-281 and Commerce Street.

3:48 p.m.

The signal at Loop 360 and Spicewood Springs South is flashing all red in all directions. Drive as “All-Way Stop.” 

3:30 p.m.

The City of Austin reported a signal at Lamar & Morrow is dark due to a power outage, will be treated as “All Way Stop.” Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. 

3:25 p.m. 

In Leander, heavy rain is reportedly causing minor street flooding and the closure of water crossings. Closed crossings include County Road 177 at Brushy Creek. Winds estimated to be traveling at 60 mph. Some neighborhood fences down. 

3:15 p.m.
