We Like To Party: CapMetro joins the lip syncing fray

Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — First came the challenge: A Bexar County Sheriff’s deputy set off the lip sync battle trend at the end of June, which spread to Central Texas law enforcement and then nationwide.

Now transportation departments are driving into the mix. Capital Metro tweeted a video Wednesday, giving kudos to the Austin Police Department’s lip sync, but adding that there “ain’t no party like a transit party!”

A number of employees are dancing along to “We Like To Party!” (which some may recognize as a song from Six Flags commercials). They challenged VIA Metro Transit in the San Antonio/Bexar County region, to which that department replied on Twitter “It’s on.”
