AUSTIN (KXAN) — Bowie High School will start on a two-hour delay Wednesday after a water line broke, according to a tweet from Austin Independent School District.

“Classes will begin at 11 a.m.,” officials wrote. “Students who regularly ride the bus should go to their bus stops two hours later than their normal pick up time.”

At about 8:25 a.m., Austin ISD officials tweeted that the water supply at Bowie High School had been restored. “Temporary heating units will be brought to campus, but we do want to encourage all students and staff to please dress warmly,” officials wrote.

Last month, the high school remained closed for a few days after a teen broke many windows and glass doors on campus.
