Threadgill’s Riverside restaurant to permanently close Dec. 3

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Managers have announced the Riverside location of Threadgill’s restaurant will permanently close Monday, Dec. 3

The location at 301 West Riverside Dr. near the Palmer Events Center has been in business since 1997.

Owner Eddie Wilson said back in September that the location would close right after Thanksgiving and that he has been fighting to keep the restaurant up and running for several years.

The Threadgill’s restaurant on Lamar will stay open and management is planning to hold some events prior to the Riverside location’s closing.
