The latest on incoming weather and when to expect the worst of it

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Between now and Saturday, many areas in Central Texas will see between 3 and 10 inches of rain, according to KXAN Forecaster Jim Spencer.

That rain and thunderstorms could cause flash flooding in some areas, especially in light of the heavy rain last week that saturated the ground and caused creeks and rivers to swell.
