AUSTIN (KXAN) — The lanes of southbound Interstate 35 are back open Saturday night after a two-vehicle crash near Howard Lane, Austin police said.

Austin police first reported the crash at 13100 North I-35 southbound just before 7:15 p.m. The crash happened in between Wells Branch Parkway and Howard Lane.

The crash did cause delays in the area as crowds headed to the road after the Texas Longhorns’ home game against Baylor.

For almost one hour, I-35 was reduced to one lane but all lanes have been reopened.

The extent of the driver’s injuries are not known.
