AUSTIN (KXAN) — Power was knocked out for multiple buildings at the University of Texas at Austin’s Pickle Research Campus for several hours Tuesday.

UT Utilities posted about the outage on social media just after 12:30 p.m. The Twitter account said the power was restored around 4 p.m.

The school said eight buildings total were affected by the outage. Officials are still trying to find the cause.

The Pickle Research Campus is located in north Austin near MoPac and U.S. Highway 183.
