Over 11K voted in Austin runoff ahead of election day next week

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Over 11,000 people voted early by Wednesday for the Travis County joint special runoff elections next week.

On the ballot are runoff elections for City of Austin District 1, District 3 and District 8. There is also a runoff election for the Austin Community College Trustee and Austin Independent School District School Board Trustee.

The early voting daily totals include unofficial totals of voter turnout. The unofficial vote totals are collected each night and are changed the next day after the completed verification procedures.

So far the number of early votes for the Travis County joint special runoff election is over 11,000. One of the most popular early voting locations is the South MoPac Randalls, followed by the Randalls on Brodie and Slaughter Lane.

People can vote early before the election on Dec. 11. The Travis County Clerk has details of where to go online.
