Many Central Texans still without power after day of severe weather


AUSTIN (KXAN) — Several neighborhoods in the Austin and surrounding areas remained without power Saturday morning after a day of severe weather and flash flooding.

As crews continued to assess the outages Saturday, the impact in Central Texas has subsided for residents.

Bluebonnet Electric is reporting that five people are currently without power near Elgin and Bastrop.

Austin Energy is reporting that about 25 customers are without power with most of these outages centered around Manor and east Austin between Airport Boulevard and US 183.

North of Austin, Oncor Energy is reporting 23 more people without power this morning in Williamson and Milam counties.
