AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in central Austin overnight Sunday.
Austin fire responded to the call at 5510 Burnet Road, just south of Koenig Lane.
The Austin Fire Department tweeted these photos saying the flames broke out in a family’s home.
One person was transported to Dell Seton to be treated for smoke inhalation. According to AFD, the fire did significant damage to the front part of the house.
AFD is still investigating what caused the fire.
