Man dies after Bryan Police find him with a gunshot wound

BRYAN, Texas (KXAN) — A young man from Bryan, TX is dead after local police found him suffering from a gunshot wound Saturday afternoon.

Police were responding to an aggravated assault call at 3:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Virginia Street when they found Armando Pina, 23, with an evident gunshot wound.

Pina was then transported to the CHI St. Joseph Hospital where he died. Officials say they believe that this incident is isolated and the public is not in danger.

The case has been turned over to Bryan Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
