JMBLYA 2019 at COTA has been canceled due to Friday’s severe weather

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The music festival JMBLYA 2019, that was set to kick off at the Circuit of the Americas on Saturday, has been canceled due to Friday’s severe weather.

In a release sent out by the festival Saturday morning, it was said that the event grounds were exposed to damaging winds, heavy rain and hail which caused significant damage to infrastructure. Fences, tents and stages were damaged during the storms and there are floods throughout the COTA property.

JMBYA has said the event has been canceled to ensure the safety of their fans, artists and staff.

They have also said that ticket holders will be refunded 100 percent for the cost of their ticket.
