The party is from 7 to 9 p.m. at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium at 405 E. 23rd St. on Thursday, June 28. There will be sports and activities on the field and then a pep rally. People can register for the event online.

The athletes will then head to Washington, where almost 3,500 people will compete in team and individual sports, from basketball and soccer to bocce, bowling and stand-up paddleboarding.
