H-E-B storage container catches fire in south Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A storage container at a south Austin H-E-B caught fire Saturday night, according to Austin Fire Department.

The fire was confined to the container and didn’t affect the main structure of the 2110 West Slaughter Lane store, AFD says.

The damage to the storage container, which held product displays, is estimated at $10,000. AFD is investigating the cause of the fire.
