AUSTIN (KXAN) — A magical Christmas moment in east Austin, as a 12-foot tall letter to Santa is set up, that tells a heartfelt holiday story.

The letter is set up on the 1300 block of Broadmoore Drive, and is an installation from the artist collective, Giant Letter. 

As the name implies, the group has been setting up these installations of giant Christmas letters since 2012. This is the second installation to be brought to Austin, the first being in 2016.

The installation comes with the giant letter, giant pen and the young boy’s beloved Christmas gift, a 12-foot microscope.
