FREE: McDonald’s offering students breakfasts on STAAR test day

AUSTIN (KXAN) —McDonald’s announced it will offer free breakfasts to students the day of the statewide STAAR tests Tuesday April 9.

From 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on April 9, Austin-area students grades 3-8 can visit their local participating McDonald’s for a free breakfast selection. Choices will inlude an Egg White Delight McMuffin Sandwich or Fruit and Maple Oatmeal, apple slices and a choice between 1% low fat milk or an Honest Kids Apple Juice Box.

“We love serving the community and our students are important to all of us. We’re committed to giving them a balanced meal for such an important day as when they take the STAAR.” said Austin McDonald’s Owner/Operator Becki Russell.

Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and teachers need valid ID.
