AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Tuesday, November 20, Austin residents can kick off the holiday week with H-E-B’s 29th annual Feast of Sharing dinner.
Hundreds of volunteers will serve a hot, free meal at the Palmer Events Center from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The menu includes turkey with dressing, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable medley and to finish it off—pumpkin pie.
The event is open to the public and includes family-friendly activities, live music and entertainment and also resources.
The H-E-B Community Connection will host 20 non-profit organizations. Services include: free flu shots while they last, care for the elderly, social services for guests, volunteer health clinics and information about community aide and shelters.

The annual Holiday feast is held throughout Texas and Mexico and includes over 250,000 meals served over a span of 30 dinners.
