AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS says two people were sent to the hospital after a car caught on fire in northeast Austin Wednesday.
Crews responded to the crash just before 6 p.m. on Dessau Road near Howard Lane. One man in his 30’s was taken to St. David’s Round Rock with critical life-threatening injuries.
A second man in his 60’s is at Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries, but he is expected to live.
The crash has closed the southbound lanes.
