AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two people who were killed in two separate crashes involving motorcycles have been identified by Austin Police.

The first crash took place on Feb. 10 at 1000 Ed Bluestein Boulevard northbound in southeast Austin. Crews were called out at 7:45 p.m.

Only the motorcycle was involved in this crash, ATCEMS said. Police identified the driver as Christopher Boone Herrick, 43, who died at the scene.

Austin Police said this was the city’s seventh fatal crash of 2022.

A second crash took place at 9600 Research Boulevard northbound in northwest Austin just after 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, ATCEMS said. That’s near the intersection with North Capital of Texas Highway.

This crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Warren Lloyd Green, 35. He died at the scene.

The driver of the other car remained on scene, Austin police said.
