AUSTIN (KXAN) — Starting Jan. 6th, CapMetro is continuing their Cap Remap plans by implementing some more service changes with the start of the new year.

These new service changes for 2019 are building off of those already in place since the Cap Remap improvements began in June of 2018. The revisions were approved last Oct. and officially take effect on Sunday, Jan. 6th.

The adjustments include eliminations and additions of certain Express routes, extensions of servicing hours for particular routes, improvements of on-time performance for several routes in the Austin area, among other improvements.

Additionally, CapMetro’s service changes are hoping to accommodate high ridership on Routes 7, 10, and 670. They will also change the final destination of Routes 315 and 333 to Oak Hill Plaza due to the closing of ACC’s Pinnacle Campus.
