AUSTIN (KXAN) — CapMetro is continuing damage control after setbacks caused during Friday’s severe weather, including a flooded access facility, bus delays, and flooded metro tracks.

The MetroAccess facility on Thompson Lane east Austin flooded prompting a move of all paratransit vehicles to a new location. The move of the vehicles started at 7 p.m. Friday and continued into Saturday morning.

CapMetro reported that tracks flooded at both Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and at Oltorf Street causing crews to work into the early hours of the morning trying to clear them. There are also reports of delays at several bus routes.

Some rail-crossing arms are staying down due to floods on the tracks and signal issues, affecting traffic in areas such as Gracy Farms near MoPac Expressway.
