Capital Metro bus involved in multi-vehicle crash; 2 hurt

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Capital Metro confirms one of its buses was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning in east Austin that sent two people to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.

Austin-Travis County EMS says the crash involving 3 passenger vehicles occurred around 9:30 a.m. on East 7th Street near Pedernales Street.

Paramedics took two men to the hospital — a man in his 50s had serious, potentially life-threatening injuries and a man in his 30s had minor injuries. 

ATCEMS says no one on the bus was taken to the hospital.
