Boil water notice lifted for Manor, Texas, after water line break

MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — People living in along State Highway 290 in Manor no longer need to boil their water after a main line water break.

Manville Water Supply sent out the boil water notice Tuesday at 11:03 a.m. It lifted the notice around 11:14 a.m. Wednesday after testing showed there were no harmful bacteria or microbes in the water.

People living in the area were told to heat their water for 2 minutes at a vigorous, rolling boil.

Manor ISD says none of its buildings or campuses were affected by the boil water notice.
