We have a feeling Bill Murray loves Austin as much as Austin loves him. The comedian has been known to pop up around the city from time to time. On Saturday he did just that.
First he made a stop at The University of Texas campus where he helped to dedicate autographed posters from recipients of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Murray won the honor back in 2016 alongside other winners like Tina Fey and Will Ferrel.
Next, he was spotted at the Paramount Theatre for the premiere of his newest film- Isle of Dogs at the SXSW film festival. The documentary “The Bill Murray Stories: Life Lessons Learned From A Mythical Man” also screened at SXSW earlier this week.
Later he was at the Driskill hotel for an impromptu poetry reading. He read the poem “Dog” by Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
