Authorities report to stabbing at Salvation Army

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Travis County EMS and Austin Police Department responded to the report of a stabbing inside the Salvation Army building on Eighth Street on Monday evening.

ATCEMS and APD reported to the scene around 8 p.m., where an adult male was transferred to a local trauma center with critical life-threatening injuries. According to APD, the man was stabbed in the stomach.

No arrests have been made yet. No further information is known at this time.
