Austin police officer hit by car while directing traffic near ACL


AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin police officer was hit by car while directing traffic near ACL Sunday night, a police spokesperson said. 

Officers responded to the call just before 9 p.m. near Bee Cave Road and South MoPac frontage road. 

Austin-Travis County EMS took the officer to Dell Seton Medical Center with minor injuries. 

The driver stayed at the scene.
