ATCEMS responds to man hit by train in northwest Austin on Mopac


AUSTIN (KXAN) — Authorities are responding to a call of a person being hit by a train in northwest Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

ATCEMS responded to the call at 11:48 a.m., in the 6000 block of North Mopac Expressway northbound.

One patient, a man in his 50s, was transported to Dell Seaton Medical Center. According to ATCEMS, he suffered minor injuries. 

ATCEMS has cleared the scene.
