AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died after an auto-pedestrian crash on a flyover ramp late Friday, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
It happened just before midnight on a flyover ramp from northbound Interstate 35 to East Ben White Boulevard.
ATCEMS said an adult was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, an SUV, stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Austin Police said.
This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 51st fatal crash of 2023, resulting in 51 fatalities for the year.
