APD investigating stabbing in southwest Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Police are investigating a stabbing in southwest Austin that sent a man to the hospital Tuesday night. According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the man’s injuries are serious and potentially life-threatening.

Austin Police say the stabbing happened just before 10:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of the westbound U.S. 290 Service Road near MoPac. Police say they know who the suspect is but do not have them in custody.
