Construction back in October 2019 (KXAN Photo/Chris Davis)

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A lot can change in six months. Our KXAN crews visited the Texas Capitol complex construction site back in October 2019 — that was during the beginning of Phase One, which is expected to be completed in about two years.

So we stopped by again to see how everything is coming along, and there are noticeable differences.

Check out the images in the slideshow gallery below. They are from our visit Monday morning.

One building we focused on last year is near ground-level with more floors to be built.

The renderings below show what the Texas Capitol complex will become when all of the dust has settled.
