AMC offers free screening of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. documentary

AUSTIN (KXAN) – To honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., AMC Theatres is offering a free screening of a documentary recalling the life of the civil rights leader.

The 1970 documentary, KING: A FILMED RECORD…MONTGOMERY TO MEMPHIS will be shown Thursday at 6 p.m. at the AMC Barton Creek 14 at 2901 S. Capital of Texas Hwy.

The chain says you need a free pass to get into to see the documentary.

Thursday marks 51 years since Dr. King was assassinated in Memphis.
