AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Pet Expo brought all its furry, feathered and scaly attendees to the Travis County Expo Center.
This year marks the 8th anniversary of the expo, and with the move comes new activities for guests such as a lure course and goat yoga.
The exposition is sponsored by Petfinder.com and features a large-scale adoption event.
“Our overall goal is to positively impact pets and pet parents at the local level,” said Ethan Barnett, vice president of events of Amazing Pet Expos.
“As a company, we support adoptions and rescue, positive reinforcement training methods and a pet/family relationship. We recognize that pets are family and want our show to reflect the special relationship between pets and parents.”
