Two people were transported to the hospital overnight on Friday after two pedestrians were hit, police say.
One incident happened on 6th St. and the North I-35 service road.
A woman in her 20s was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, but not expected to be life threatening injuries, EMS officials say.
In the other incident, medics were called to Manchaca Road and Davis Lane — in between William Cannon Drive and Slaughter Lane — at 8:57 p.m. and found an unconscious man.
The man, in his 30s, was taken to South Austin Medical Center and has critical, life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the car did not stay at the scene.
