AUSTIN (KXAN) — One man is in the hospital with potentially serious injuries Wednesday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
He was traveling southbound on South Capital of Texas Highway when he crashed his truck into a pole, according to an Austin Police Department watch commander.
Austin Fire Department extricated and rescued the trapped man from his vehicle.
It is unknown if weather played a factor for him going off the road. ATC EMS did tweet that the “roads are slick.”
