APD: Stabbing at Republic Square Park in downtown Austin began as argument

AUSTIN (KXAN) — According to Austin Police Department, an argument between two people on Thursday afternoon ended in one of them being stabbed.

APD responded to the call around 3:26 p.m. and officers responded to the scene at the Republic Square Park located at 422 Guadalupe Street.

According to the police, the person who was stabbed was taken to the hospital.
