AUSTIN (KXAN) — KXAN Sports’ Roger Wallace and Andrew Schnitker break down Texas’ 23-17 win over Baylor.
Sam Ehlinger left the game after just 10 plays with what was later diagnosed as an AC sprain in his shoulder. Shane Buechele played for the first time this season in his absence.
The Longhorns were shut out for the second half, but the defense kept Charlie Brewer and the Baylor offense at bay for most of the game.
The win moves UT to 4-0 in Big 12 play and keeps the team atop the conference standings. It also makes Texas bowl eligible for the second year in a row.
