DETROIT, Mich. (WCMH) — One of the historic boats from Boblo Island caught fire Friday at the Riverside Marina in Detroit, NBC affiliate WDIV-TV reports.

Video from the scene shows massive flames burning through the S.S. Ste Claire.

The ship was moved to Detroit last year after a collector bought the ship with plans to restore it.

Firefighters continue to work to contain the flames. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Boblo Island was established in 1898 as a recreation park on the Detroit River about 18 miles southwest of Windsor. To get to the park, guests had to take an 18-mile boat ride on either the Columbia, built in 1902, or the Ste. Claire, built in 1910.
