LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — A gas leak in Leander has shut down Ranch to Market 2243 between North Bagdad Road and Riverway.
The leak was reported around 8:30 a.m. Atmos Energy is on the scene working to repair the line.
At 10 a.m., the Leander Police Department said the road will be closed for the next couple of hours.
Traffic is being detoured to Deercreek Lane.
This is the same area that had a leak on Nov. 22. Construction in the area caused the leak shutting down the road for eight hours.
