Victims at ATM robbed at gunpoint; police searching for suspect


Police need your help identifying a man they say robbed three people in the span of a week in February.

Austin police say the first robbery happened on Feb. 6 around noon in the 1700 block of Willow Creek Drive, which is just south of East Riverside Drive. In that case, the victim had his money stolen.

The following day, just before 8 a.m., the suspect robbed a woman at a location at the corner of North Lamar Boulevard and Rundberg Lane. 

Two days later, on Friday, Feb. 9, police say the suspect robbed a man at 6501 Airport Blvd. In every incident, he displayed a weapon. 

In one of the surveillance photos, it shows the suspect reaching into a vehicle. Police say two of the cases involved victims getting money from an ATM. 

Detectives were able to gather surveillance images of the suspect leaving the scene in a dark gray 2018 Toyota Camry.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s to 30s. He has a medium to athletic build and a gap in his teeth. He possibly wears a gold grill.
