PORT ARTHUR, Texas (KXAN) — A UPS employee in Southeast Texas is accused of stealing $100,000 worth of items from his employer.

According to an arrest affidavit, Matthew Pham, 21, loaded trucks at the UPS hub in Port Arthur. Police were notified of the theft at the end of June and when they started investigating, they discovered Pham was taking “entire boxes of cellular phones destined for a local AT&T store.”

Each box contained 10 phones that were either Samsung or Apple brands and ranged in price from $400-$1,100.

KBMT reports Pham admitted to stealing and selling the items. He is charged with cargo theft.
