Third suspect arrested in San Marcos deadly shooting

JACKSON, Miss. (AP/KXAN) — A third suspect has been arrested in Mississippi in connection with the death of Matthew Jacob Rodriguez Jr. in San Marcos.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigations and US Marshals arrested Adrian Terrell Rose, 24, in Jackson, Miss. on Monday. 

Rose, along with Jacob Portier, 27, and Jason Portier, 26, are charged with capital murder in the Aug. 14 shooting death of Rodriguez. Rodriguez was shot multiple times in the chest and died at the Park North Condos in the 1600 block of Aquarena Springs Drive.

The Portier brothers were arrested last week and remain in the Hays County Jail.
