AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating a suspicious death near the 7000 block of I-35 on Saturday morning, which is near East St. John’s Avenue.
According to Austin Police Department, early Saturday around 5:39 a.m., officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired. After searching the area, officers found a man inside a vehicle with trauma to his body and he was transferred to a hospital.
The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
APD said Saturday morning that there’s no other information available at this time but the investigation is ongoing.
