AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man featured on the “Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders” list with ties to Austin and Bell County was arrested Thursday night in Glendale Heights, Illinois.

David Sauceda Medina, 62, was wanted on two outstanding felony warrants for indecency with a child/sexual contact in Bell County, as well as failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements in Austin.

Authorities said Medina has a 2010 conviction in Travis County for indecency/sexual contact with a 7-year-old girl.

The Glendale Heights Police Department got a tip from an anonymous source that Medina was seen in a house on Fullerton Avenue in the Chicago suburb.

Medina was arrested without incident at 9:30 p.m. and taken to the DuPage County Jail where he awaits extradition to Texas.

A cash reward of $3,000 was offered for Medina in May, followed by an increase in the reward money to $8,000 earlier this month
