Man arrested in connection with New Braunfels shooting

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (KXAN) — A man was arrested after allegedly shooting another man in the abdomen during an argument in New Braunfels late Thursday night.

Michael Medina, 26, was found at the scene on the 100 block of Caddell Lane. When police and paramedics arrived, they also discovered a 28-year-old lying on the ground outside of a home. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police questioned Medina and say he had pulled out a handgun while arguing with the victim and shot him. He was arrested and booked into the Comal County Jail. He faces an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
